Crewing Up by Robert Taylor

A very rare Robert Taylor print signed by Commander in Chief of Bomber Command 1942-1945, Marshall of the Royal Air Force Sir Arthur Harris.

Robert Taylor’s famous painting depicts a Lancaster squadron crewing up for a night operation over occupied Europe. Limited edition prints were released in 1980 and were signed by Sir Arthur ‘Bomber’ Harris.

We are selling this print on behalf of one of our collectors - it is in mint condition with the original Cetificate of Authenticity.
450 SOLD

We have a second copy available. It has a couple small handling defects that are only visible at certain angles - not when looking directly at the print. It also has a slight ‘waviness’ to the paper in the right and left border areas - this sometimes happens when a print is stored in an area that has regular changes in temperature from cold to hot - for example next to an exterior wall. The print has not been framed and the colours are strong. It is a quite rare find and would look ecellent framed. It does not have the original CoA but we can confirm it is genuine and we can give a covering letter to that effect.
